Im super proud of this set. This goes beyond low lighting. Just one antique 80 watt bulb lit Dana Dearmond’s naked well tanned skin. I hit the back of the car with 1000 watts of light though to give it a little drama. I’ve always associated sex with cars. If I owned a few more cars, I’d probably just shoot women in cars and nothing else. This set features Dana giving head to a glass dildo. The light shines right through the dildo as if shes giving head to some divine extraterrestrial being. This set contains one of my most favorite photos, a shot of Dana pulling down her panties, her eyes lit up like the stars, a wave of warm light across her body.

i shot the lovely ulorin vex last night. angela warrick on makeup. and to round it out, a new assistant gave me a hand with the shoot. things went pretty smooth although ulorin was super super tired. i felt so bad keeping her up. but photos are forever and sleepy time only lasts so long. ill work on samples today maybe. post something for you guys to have a looksee. :)

theyre install all new windows in my home today. as i type this guys are using hammers and whatnot. im going to find a way to make sweet love to my new windows. somehow … i will find a way. i think to celebrate i’ll buy some new curtains to help block out the sun and make my place a little more homey.

today’s my first day off in awhile. although for me a day off is one in which i have no particular obligations so i just end up working on the computer. notice i say i have the day off, but in the next sentence i say im working on the computer? thats the life of a small business owner. but i love it and i wouldnt have it any other way. besides, its not real work cause i look at boobs all day.

this is my first set shot with the lovely Kathryne. My makeup artist forgot to show up. That was embarassing but not all that uncommon in this industry. Ive been lucky enough to command great respect from my peers based on my work and reputation, but occasionally im not above a last minute cancellation or mental folly. No worries though, a trip to the local drug store and Kathryne championed the cause herself. She stands six foot. Shes a dominatrix and muse by trade in her home town of NYC. And you could tell the minute she walked through the door. Its sometimes an interesting dynamic for me, being in the same room as a dominant female. I hate to break the code of silence but its very rare for professional dominatrixes to be dominating in not just their personal sex lives but their social lives as well. Occasionally you get one that either is genuinely dominating or one that cant put down the facade long enough to act the way they would normally. Im not sure which of these several scenarios Kathryne fell into but it was clear there was an invisible power struggle going on when we spoke. I honestly couldnt tell if she enjoyed my company or despised it. And either is fine with me honestly. I just hate not knowing. Ultimately it doesnt matter. Its just a shoot. Im really not socially friends with anyone that i work with. So in that sense its not relevant. But i do wonder if you can tell what was going on in the photos. Its something i ask myself often. Are the photos from the shoots i loved being a part of good because i enjoyed myself or because all parties involved did their best and it shows in the work? Or are the photos good because my emotion can be felt through the work? Or are they no good at all but i indeitify them as good because i was there and i associate good feelings with the shoot itself and therefore the images as well. Ahhhh the life of a photographer. So much self doubt. Haha. So you tell me … what do the images tell you? Am i seducing or being seduced?
