featuring - Cherry

i havent shot cherry in years. we got back in touch when i became newy single and decided it’d be a good idea to get out of the house and hit a goth club. im not a club goer. at all. theres very little about it that appeals to me. girls dress up and thats great, but people act like idiots, drunk and whatnot. theres usually lots of cigarette smoke no matter that smoking was banned years ago. the music is so loud you cant hold a conversation. and people are convulsing their bodies as if to summon the gods of bad taste from their slumber. but there are good points. when i hit a local goth club a fair amount of people already know who i am or have heard of me. so it sorta feels homey. i was purposefully invisible in high school. so its interesting playing the role of popularity for a night. i bumped into cherry while there. we caught up on all that has passed in our lives. shes collected several new tattoos. she mentioned shooting again, so i took her up on her offer and a couple weeks later there she was. i pulled out a trick i had learned on a paid shoot a month or so back. its this odd way of folding gels of many colors together and rigging them onto my lights. so thats what you see there. it looks like rainbow sherbet. fantastic!
